The MMO shooter The Division has introduced the hostile factions in a new, atmospheric trailer.
New York on the brink of apocalypse. Here, man becomes the greatest enemy of man. It is not zombies or aliens causing trouble in Ubisoft’s cover shooter – it is humans from whom danger arises in The Division. Some of them behave as if they have shed all humanity.
The Division divides your opponents into four groups.
There are the Rioters, looters who are disorganized and try to survive without regard for civilians. The law of the strongest rules.
The Rikers are escaped prisoners from Riker Island. They are criminals who now seek to rise as the new kings of the streets. They want to pay back to the society that once locked them away.
The Cleaners want to see the world burn, making little distinction between civilian and combatant. They swear by the cleansing power of fire.
And the dangerous fourth faction, which has now been introduced for the first time, is indeed the Last Man Battalion. A quasi-military organization that considers itself the last resort.
