In the shared-world shooter The Division, we present the gear set Reclaimer.
With the Underground expansion, four new gear sets are now available, which can already be obtained on PC and Xbox One. On PS4, they are available from August 2. One of these four sets is the Reclaimer set, which is described as extremely powerful in the community. Is it so strong that it might need to be nerfed in the future?
What makes the Reclaimer set special in The Division
The Reclaimer set is designed for supporters. If you’re only focused on high DPS values or always roaming solo through New York, this set won’t help you. However, if you’re playing in fireteams and enjoy supporting each other, Reclaimer will greatly benefit your team.
This set consists of a total of six pieces. You can find them in the Underground, in the incursion “Dragon’s Lair”, in heroic missions, and they have also been discovered as drops from named NPCs and in supply drops in the Dark Zone.
Once you’ve looted and equipped several pieces of the set, you will receive certain bonuses. At four pieces, the unique talent is unlocked:
- 2 pieces: +100% healing speed of the aid station. This bonus is useful in high-level activities, such as incursions. When you’re holed up behind cover, you can efficiently regenerate yourself and your team.
- 3 pieces: +50% duration of consumables. This makes consumables, such as water, and special ammunition, like incendiary bullets, last longer. Below is a comparison image:
- 4 pieces: Talent Reclaimer: All fireteam members benefit from applied consumables and special ammunition. Moreover, these are not consumed.
These two bonuses of this set are practical, but thanks to this talent, Reclaimer is currently outstanding. This means not only that you can endlessly benefit from consumables and special ammo yourself, but your entire team receives the buff. Interesting: If you give incendiary ammunition to a buddy with the Reclaimer set, he can also use another consumable at the same time. Thus, it’s possible for you to heat up enemies simultaneously with incendiary and explosive rounds:
You have unlimited consumables and special ammo with the set; however, it’s not as simple to use one consumable after another. You need to be aware of the cooldown times for that.
To apply these faster one after the other, the character talent Triage helps: This reduces skill cooldowns by 15% when you heal an ally. If you’re playing with a large fireteam, you can essentially benefit from consumables and special ammo forever this way.
Tip: The Coolheaded talent on the Caduceus also reduces the cooldown.
According to Arekkz Gaming, it is undoubtedly one of the best gear sets in the game. In a team, you can achieve devastating effects together. Especially in PvE, it is possible to cut a swath through hordes of enemies. But even in PvP, your squad can gain significant advantages over other agents with a Reclaimer set.
How long Massive will look at this superiority is currently unknown. There are repeated opinions online that the set should be nerfed. Because against a team using Reclaimer, you have little chance – unless you use this set yourself.
