Tempers are high in the Ubisoft forum and on reddit: DigitalHitman, a moderator in the official Ubi forum, currently sees the community as the biggest problem in The Division. Toxic tensions have arisen due to the imbalance among agents.
People are upset because those agents who invested more or less a lot of time into the game pre-patch and thus reached a high rank and top-tier gear early are superior to others. There is also the accusation that some agents ruthlessly exploited the early glitches and exploits in the game, allowing them to quickly upgrade their character.
The moderator responds to a forum post by a user: this user accused Massive of not adequately addressing the concerns of the players.
Update 1.2 aims to address many concerns of the agents
DigitalHitman continues to write that The Division is accessible for both core and casual gamers. Since the game is an MMO, it is perfectly natural that casual players lag behind other users in progress. He himself has clocked nearly 20 hours in the game, having painstakingly earned everything himself. However, he still has some goals to achieve.
The development team cannot address the concerns of every player individually, as everyone has different experiences in the game. But he firmly believes that with the upcoming Update 1.2, many issues will be resolved in The Division.
