Today, on June 2nd, long maintenance work is taking place at The Division. The servers will be unavailable on PS4, Xbox One, and PC for several hours.
Update 14:45: A patch for Xbox One is coming today. This is what it does and this is how big it is.
Update 11:30: Servers will be back online by 12 PM! No patch will be released. The Division’s Challenge Mode will also not be available yet. Apparently, there were issues with the patch. More information will follow soon.
The weekly maintenance work is taking place today. However, there is one difference: the server downtime will start earlier and will last longer.
The downtime starts at 8 AM our time. The estimated server downtime will be a whopping 5 hours, meaning you won’t be able to play until 1 PM.
Will the “Clear Sky” Challenge Mode be available?
Update 9:25 AM: There is still no official changelog. However, on the known issues page, Massive states that a problem with the reset of the daily high-end objectives is being resolved, as well as a bug in the Dark Zone: If you enter a specific location in DZ06, you will be teleported to a checkpoint. These issues will seemingly be addressed today.
Original report:
So far, it has not been specified what will be changed during this extensive maintenance work. A new hotfix may come to fix all the issues after Update 1.2 in The Division.
Furthermore, we strongly believe that the Challenge Mode of “Clear Sky” will be available. Agents have basically been craving this challenge since the launch of the Conflict update.
The following tweet was posted by Massive yesterday:
Therefore, we are probably not leaning too far out the window when we assume: Starting today around 1 PM, we can face the Rikers at Columbus Circle on “Challenging” difficulty.
Many agents were expecting the release of the Challenge Mode already on Tuesday: So far, Massive has stated that it would be playable one week after Update 1.2. And 1.2 was released last week on a Tuesday. We have already addressed the Challenge Mode of “Clear Sky” here.
As soon as there is concrete information about today’s changes, you will find it here.
