Today, spontaneous maintenance is taking place in The Division. The servers for PC will be shut down.
As Massive announced via Twitter, the servers for the PC version of The Division will be shut down today at 12 PM. The estimated downtime is 30 minutes. If everything goes as planned, PC agents can start playing the MMO shooter again at 12:30.
The maintenance will only take place for PC. PS4 and Xbox users can continue playing normally.
During the maintenance, a major issue will be resolved that appeared right after update 1.2: Some players were missing all their characters in The Division. We have already reported on this.
A community developer from Massive, Yannick Bancherea, writes in the Ubi forum, that for the affected agents there will be a rollback. All game data will be reset to the state before the update.
Massive apologizes for the inconvenience.
Update: The servers are live again. Apparently, the hotfix was successful and players have their agents back.
