In The Division, you can now apply for the second Elite Task Force.
What is going on with the PvP area in The Division? The major update 1.4 brought no new features, while update 1.5 also brought no changes. The last major features were introduced with the Conflict update, which allowed players to cut the rope in the extraction zone.
It is now known: The update 1.6 will focus on PvP balance and the Dark Zone. However, the developers do not want to work alone in secret – on the contrary: They invite you to actively help shape the future of PvP.
The Elite Task Force Returns
Already in September, an Elite Task Force was called upon to provide feedback and suggestions for update 1.4 directly to Massive in Sweden. 13 representatives from the community participated in this multi-day “workshop.” According to Massive, this project was extremely successful, which is why they are now inviting a second ETF.
The workshop for update 1.6 will take place in mid-January in Morrisville, North Carolina. This is where the “Red Storm” studios are located, currently working on PvP.
In the online form, you will first need to provide information about yourself. What platform do you play on, how many hours have you already spent in The Division? Furthermore, you must be at least 18 years old, allowed to travel to Morrisville, and available from January 11 to 13. At the end of the registration, you should briefly state why you are a good candidate for the ETF.
The registration will remain open until December 14 at 6 PM. Please note that good English skills are required.
The community manager Yannick Bancherau emphasizes that you do not need to be a famous YouTuber or streamer. Anyone who meets the above criteria has a chance to be selected.
