Today, on July 6th, Phase 2 of the PTS for Update 1.7 for The Division begins.
Massive just announced that today the second phase of the public test server for Update 1.7 is being launched. After the live game was down this morning to fix a glitch, the PTS will go offline this afternoon.
- The PTS will be shut down at 1:30 PM. The estimated downtime is three hours. You can access the test servers again around 4:30 PM.
What new features are there?
As this article is being written, there are still no patch notes available. It is not yet known which issues Massive is fixing or what new features are coming.
Currently, there is also no information on when the PTS for PS4 and Xbox One will start. However, the launch should not be too far away. Last week, Massive stated that the console PTS would begin after the major bugs are fixed. This should happen with Phase 2 of the PTS.
