Regarding the upcoming MMO shooter Tom Clancy’s The Division (PC, PS4, Xbox One), the Season Pass has now been outlined and the content plans for 2016 have been presented.
In The Division, a Season Pass was already sold; now players are also informed about what it contains. In this context, it becomes clear: The Division plans 3 paid expansions throughout the year. Each of the expansions is supposed to enhance the game, extend the agent’s journey, and bring fresh gameplay, new gear, and game content.
Previously, it had been promised to include everything the game has to offer in the base game. Only recently did they start with DLCs, it was said.
The three expansions are:
- Expansion 1 – Underground – In the first expansion, players will explore the yet uncharted underground beneath New York in a new zone. Agents can bring up to 3 friends for intense coop action.
- Expansion 2 – Survival – Players must survive as long as possible in an “extremely hostile environment.”
- Expansion 3 – Last Stand – No information is available yet.
In addition to these 3 DLCs, buyers of the Season Pass also receive:
- a sawed-off shotgun, a unique sidearm designed for destruction at close range
- a complete set of exclusive outfits and weapon skins
- special monthly benefits, such as exclusive game content and special events
The Season Pass is included in the Gold Edition and in the “Sleeper Agent” version of the game. It is also supposed to be available for individual purchase when the game is released on March 8.
