YouTuber MarcoStyle shows you in the video where to find the Dark Zone chests with valuable loot in The Division. These chests can contain high-end items.
Since the Patch 1.0.2 of The Division, it has become more lucrative for agents to open the “large” chests in the Dark Zone: There is now a chance that they also contain high-end items. Therefore, it is worth searching for their locations in the Dark Zone – or at least knowing where they are. Maybe there is one close to you.
However, one problem is that these chests are often found empty, as other agents have already been there before you. According to MarcoStyle, there are also very “specific” chests, especially in DZ05 and DZ06, which are usually filled with tasty items waiting for you, as they are harder to find.
Here are the chests in the Dark Zone of The Division
In the following video, the YouTuber shows you exactly where to find the chests with possible high-end items:
MarcoStyle starts in DZ01 and works his way north until he reaches the far north of DZ06. However, he cannot guarantee that the chests shown in the video are all key chests available in the Dark Zone. But he is very sure.
Note: The YouTuber only presents the locations of the 19 chests that require keys to open. There are many “smaller” chests that can be looted without a key. You can find these scattered all over the Dark Zone. Since Patch 1.0.2, the Rank 30 chests also drop superior items.
How to obtain Dark Zone keys in The Division
To be able to open the chests, you need a Dark Zone key. These keys are only obtained in the Dark Zone, the PvP area of The Division. There are three ways to obtain them:
- Kill high-level NPCs: There is a chance that these Dark Zone keys drop from enemies in the Dark Zone.
- Eliminate other agents: There is also the possibility of snatching the keys from other agents by eliminating them. However, this is risky, as you will become rogue, and there is no guarantee that the agent has keys with them.
