The Division can be played for free this weekend. Afterwards, you can purchase the game at a discounted price.
Ubisoft announced a “Free Weekend” – a weekend where you can play The Division for free. This offer is valid for all platforms: PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
These dates you should note:
- PlayStation 4: Starts on May 4 at 9 AM; Ends on May 8 at 9 AM
- PC: Starts on May 4 at 7 PM; Ends on May 7 at 10 PM
- Xbox One: Starts on May 4 at 9 AM; Ends on May 8 at 9 AM

During these days, the contents of the Standard Edition will be freely available to you. Ubisoft promotes the coop features, the Dark Zone, which is the only PvP area in the Standard Edition, and all the tweaks and improvements that The Division has undergone during the first year.

You cannot test the content from the paid Season Pass – that is, Underground, Survival, Last Stand, and two Raids.
