In The Division the weekly status report, the State of the Game, has just aired. It already mentioned the first bugs that will come with update 1.3.
Recently, the servers are back online: PC and Xbox agents can download the patch for 1.3 and dive into the underground of post-apocalyptic New York.
PS4 users are wondering: “When is it our turn?” Massive has now clearly stated this and mentioned the important dates:
- The free update 1.3 is expected to be released on Tuesday, July 5. It includes gameplay adjustments, bug fixes, and more, like the new weapons and a gear set.
- The Underground expansion will be released for PS4 on August 2 – with the underground missions, the raid “Dragon’s Lair” and four new gear sets.
Additionally, on July 5, the Ubi30 outfits can be requested for free in the Ubisoft Club and will then be received at the rewards vendor. These can be obtained by all agents, regardless of platform and the acquisition of expansions.
By the way: According to Massive, you can also purchase “Underground” without a Season Pass. This has been possible on Xbox One since midnight, and on PC since today at 12 PM.
The first bugs from update 1.3 are officially known
Before the launch of update 1.3, Massive mentioned bugs that should be fixed soon. Two weapons are affected:
- Showstopper: This shotgun currently triggers the talent of the “Call of the Watch” on hits. This should not be the case, as the effect would otherwise be too strong.
Note: The talent “Showstopper” on this weapon cannot be re-rolled. - G36: These assault rifles currently have too high a base damage. They will be nerfed in the future.
Massive does not classify these bugs as exploits. You can freely “enjoy” them until the issues are resolved.
Further information from the status report:
- If you find old gear sets after update 1.3, they can also reach the new maximum gear score.
- “Scrap collection” is currently a rather meaningless value as there are many guaranteed rewards in the game. This value will be adjusted to the new circumstances in the future.
- The underground missions run on a different game server than the rest of the game. Depending on the traffic, there may be a slight risk that issues may arise when starting these missions, and you may have to wait a bit until the server transfer is completed. The risk is low but can occur.
You can find all information about “Underground” and update 1.3 from the livestream.
