In The Division, Massive announces exclusive “events” for Season Pass holders.
When the Season Pass for The Division was introduced, it was not only about expansions and exclusive monthly content but also about “special events”. But what kind of events are these for the “Season Pass” holders? So far, there has been no trace of them.
Now, Massive has commented on these events. Initially, the plan was apparently to give Agents only a “fun” bonus as a thank you for their loyalty and engagement. However, it was recognized that expectations were significantly higher than what was initially envisioned. Therefore, the developers decided to create something else.
Events are monthly supply drops outside the Dark Zone
With update 1.3, the first version of the “Season Pass” events was implemented. Twice a month, you will receive a supply drop outside the Dark Zone. You can see where this will be dropped on the map, which will show you the exact location.
The crate is guarded by a group of NPCs at level 32 and contains three items that are either gear sets or of the high-end quality. They are adjusted to your gear score in terms of equipment value.
On the 1st and 15th of every month, a new crate will drop from the sky, replacing the previous one. It is recommended to definitely collect the rewards before these dates.
Update 1.4, which is expected to be released sometime this summer and is titled “Survival”, will make changes to these “Season Pass” exclusive drops. Several locations will be introduced, and the frequency of drops will be increased.
In the end, they thank the Agents for their loyalty, engagement, and patience. Working on The Division and with a passionate community is an incredible learning process for everyone.
