Today, on April 14th, the Easter event (Spring event) has started in The Division. Here’s what it has to offer.
It was announced at short notice in the last State of the Game: The Spring event, now called “Easter Double Event”. While there is still snow in post-apocalyptic New York, spring has arrived in the real world, which Massive wants to celebrate in the coming days.
Here is the schedule and the phases of this event:
- From April 14 at 10 AM to April 16 at 10 AM, most named enemies in the game will drop Extra Loot when you defeat them.
- From April 16 at 10 AM to April 18 at 10 AM, you will receive double supply crates. So when you fill the XP bar, there will be not just one crate, but two.
The Spring Sale is running – Discounts on Premium Items
Since April 13, a Spring Sale has been underway at the premium vendor. The premium vendor is the well-signposted NPC in the terminal, where you can purchase cosmetic items with real money.
During the sale, there are discounts on several items, such as weapon skins, backpack skins, emotes, and outfit bundles – up to 75% off. The Spring Sale runs until April 20.
Most offers have a 25% discount. 75% off is available on:
- Backpack skin “Edge – Beat”
- Weapon skin “Edge – Beat”
Important Note: Today, on April 14th, the offers of the premium vendor will be updated at 1 PM.
Such events with double rewards were already tested in the public test servers for Update 1.4 back in Autumn 2016. However, it took months for them to be implemented in the game. Just over a month ago, such “Year 1” celebration events took place, where there were double rewards for HVTs and – as this time – double supply crates as well. Such events will likely happen more frequently now.
