Breaking Bad in The Division
The successful series Breaking Bad by Vince Gilligan is also referenced in The Division as an Easter egg. To find it, you need to locate and activate an echo in Clinton (approx. 2030/935). A scene is reenacted in which Walter White and Jesse Pinkman are at a party.
Even though the given names only partially match the originals, the descriptions leave no doubt about the reference to Breaking Bad. It is indicated that “William White” is a chemistry teacher who worked at a car wash.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in The Division
There are several references to the crime-fighting turtles in The Division. You can find Michelangelo’s nunchaku in Pennsylvania Plaza at the corner of 31st Street and 7th Avenue. Leonardo’s swords can be found between 5th Street and 43rd Street in Turtle Bay (if that’s not a fitting place for a TMNT Easter Egg!)
