Recently, the State of the Game for this week concluded at The Division. We summarize the information provided in this status report.
The community developers Hamish Bode and Yannick Banchereau spoke about Update 1.1 during today’s maintenance, which has been available since 12 PM. In the “State of the Game” livestream, they briefly touched upon the new content in The Division that you can read about here.
They also revealed new information, which we want to summarize compactly below.
Daily and weekly missions are live, Daily Missions are back
In recent days, agents were unable to complete daily missions due to a bug. This problem is being fixed today, and these missions are available again. Since agents could not earn Phoenix Credits from this source on those days, Yannick Banchereau announced that there would be compensations. This compensation will be in the form of Phoenix Credits. The amount that will be given to the agents has not been specified.
Additionally, the daily and weekly missions are going live immediately:
- Every day, three different missions (for combat, crafting, and Dark Zone) are assigned, giving agents 24 hours to complete them. Today, enemies must be eliminated, crafting materials converted, and LMB enemies taken out in the Dark Zone. Rewards include Phoenix Credits, Division Tech, and DZ experience.
- The weekly mission consists of four tasks, which you have 7 days to complete. A new weekly mission is released every Tuesday. In the end, you will be rewarded with 30 Phoenix Credits.
During the stream, it was observed in the chat that players find 30 credits somewhat meager for a weekly mission. Yannick Banchereau pointed out that most tasks could be completed alongside.
New problem with “DZ Rank 1” is just a display issue
During the stream, it was mentioned that some agents will have a “problem” during character selection: It will show that they are DZ Rank 1. However, this is just a display issue; in the game, you will regain your previous rank in the Dark Zone. Nothing has been reset, so there is no need to worry.
Further information discussed:
- The issue with the backpack bug is hoped to be mostly resolved. However, the team is still working on this complex problem.
- In trading, you can only “drop” an item for one hour after picking it up. The patch notes state that this is possible for 2 hours.
- New blueprints will only be available from DZ Rank 75 and 90. We have already reported about this here.
- The gear sets consist of a total of six pieces. However, you only need four to unlock each unique talent.
- The Dark Zone specialty vendor now sells his items for DZ currency instead of Phoenix Credits.
All of this has been available since 12 PM today.
