In The Division, we present tips and tricks on how to master the new incursion “Dragon’s Nest” in Challenge Mode.
The incursions in Ubisoft’s online shooter are available in three difficulty levels: Hard, Challenging, and Heroic. The Heroic mode of the still fresh incursion “Dragon’s Nest” will only be active next week – until then, you can study the mechanics and processes on Hard or take a shot at the Challenge Mode.
The YouTuber Schorri TV presents tips, tricks, and tactics on how to conquer Dragon’s Nest on Challenging – and that relatively easy. See for yourself:
Dragon’s Nest in Challenge Mode
The four riders and the fire-breathing fire truck can create quite a few problems when you venture into the Challenge Mode of Dragon’s Nest. Numerous adds additionally heat things up for you. Besides a decent setup, you primarily need a solid tactic on how to approach the dangers.

Until you reach the rooftop, no major problems should arise. Only in the area where the four riders reign, your skills will be put to the test.
Before you fire a shot, sneak up on the enemies from the right, take cover, and inspect the situation first. Where are the engineers who want to drive the extremely dangerous electric cars towards you? First, identify these targets and then go full throttle on them. This way, the beginning in this area becomes a lot easier.
After that, barricade yourselves at the back, as we recommend in our guide for Dragon’s Nest on Hard. Just climb the stairs up and take cover: Make good use of the fortification and your healing skills there. But be careful: Enemies also spawn from the back. Keep your eyes open and communicate with the team about where the dangers come from.
Once the enemies are dealt with, the four big bosses, known as the “Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse”, will appear. While you can eliminate the horsemen from this cover without major problems on Hard, you will be overwhelmed in Challenge Mode by them and the adds. Because after each horseman kill, a new wave of enemies comes. Therefore, Schorri’s team has devised a different strategy.
The Battle Against the Horsemen in Challenge Mode
The tactic is basically: Keep the four horsemen at bay. For this, you will run clockwise over the map, coordinating which of the four horsemen you are shooting at (Death, Famine, Plague, War). And if they get too close, you run a bit further.
However, you won’t be eliminating any of them completely at first. You will only strip the armor from the horsemen and then focus on the next one. Because: Only when one goes down, do all the adds come. As long as they all stay alive, you have your peace. With this clever tactic, you can weaken the horsemen undisturbed.
If a horseman comes too close while you are running around, you can temporarily hold him at bay with the flashbang sticky grenade. Therefore, two of your agents should have selected this skill.
Once the four horsemen are sufficiently weakened, then – as Schorri likes to say – time to go for the mother! Eliminate all four horsemen as simultaneously as possible. Now enemies will spawn that you can now eliminate much more comfortably than if you still had the big brutes on your neck. This hard phase is now completed.
The Battle Against the Firetruck
Against this boss, you approach as you would in Hard Mode. Especially think of the support station with the immunizer mod, with which you can withstand the fire from the truck. With additional fortification and triage, you can simply ride it out: Two players then go to the switches to activate them. Give them an individual skill on their way so they can return safely. And this way, the fire truck isn’t a big problem.
