In The Division, we present 4 tips and tricks on how you can take advantage of the new World Tier system.
Since update 1.4, there are World Tiers in The Division’s endgame. These tiers affect the levels of all enemies and the values of loot and vendor items. The World Tier system aims to enable a logical and meaningful progression that was not present before 1.4.
You set the desired World Tier on the map. There are a total of four tiers. Without loading times, you can quickly change the world around you – and use this system to your advantage with the following clever tips.
Who needs expensive mods?
With the World Tier system, you can get high-quality, yet inexpensive weapon and gear mods. For example, visit the special equipment vendor in the terminal. However, many other vendors also offer mods. The mods cost between 487 and 627 Phoenix Credits at rank four and are at object level 33.
A high object level does not indicate that one mod is better than another, but rather that the chance for high stats is higher. In World Tier 1, these mods only come at level 30, so you must compare the stats of the mods. It may be that the mods at World Tier 1 have exactly the same stats as at World Tier 4 – with the only difference being that the mods now cost between 56 and 72 Phoenix Credits. You can save several hundred Phoenix Credits here and still have the exact same effect.
If you prefer to invest your currencies in weapons and armor rather than mods, it can also be worth buying the cheaper mods, even if you might lose a few percentage points on the bonuses. Mods are extremely important, and you can acquire them at such low prices. They significantly upgrade your equipment.
Quickly and cheaply obtain crafting materials
You can find blueprints in the endgame that have the maximum gear score. Crafting is worth it again. If you need materials for that, we have this tip for you:
You can obtain crafting materials the fastest by disassembling other items. If you urgently need items and don’t want to farm, you can also buy them from vendors, for example, from the credit vendors in the operations base. At World Tier 1, the objects are significantly cheaper than at World Tier 4, but still yield the same amount of crafting materials when disassembled.
Weapons with low score for AlphaBridge build
With the talent of the AlphaBridge set, you can have up to 6 active talents on a weapon if the guns in both weapon slots belong to the same category. However, only your primary weapon needs to have strong stats. For the secondary weapon, you only require the talents.
For the build, it is sufficient to lower the World Tier and acquire a weapon with the appropriate talents cheaply. Additionally, weapons with a high score often have high attribute requirements to activate the talents. If your secondary weapon has a low value, you are more likely to meet the requirements to activate all six talents simultaneously.
Farming Phoenix Credits
The last tip is a farming method. With your well-equipped agent, you can lower the World Tier, complete the raid “Clear Sky” in just a few minutes, and earn 100 Phoenix Credits as a reward after each run. This way, you can accumulate an enormous amount of PCs in a very short time.
Massive has already commented on this. With update 1.5, they will address this “problem.” They are looking at ways to better scale rewards in the World Tiers. However, this is not an exploit, so you can use the farming method without fear of penalties.
