In The Division 1, you can complete Shields that unlock rewards for the first part and also for The Division 2. We explain how it all works and how you can get your rewards.
These are the Shields: They are specific challenges that present you with various tasks. There are a total of 12 that you can unlock in The Division 1.
The purpose of these 12 Shields was to keep agents occupied in the time before the release of The Division 2.
The more you complete, the more rewards will be unlocked for The Division 2. But how can you unlock those in the second part?

Shield Rewards in The Division 2
Here’s how to find the Shield rewards:
- Go either via the website, or in the game itself, to the Ubisoft Club.
- To start the club from the game, you must have linked your accounts on consoles with the Ubisoft Club beforehand.
- Once you have the Club page open, you will find various Shield rewards for the game under The Division 2.
A small tip: Through the Ubisoft Club, you can unlock additional rewards. Just check the reward list.
Here’s how you unlock the Shield rewards: To get the Shield rewards, you only need to complete enough Shields in The Division 1. This is recorded in the Ubisoft Club, and the corresponding rewards are unlocked.

There are a total of 12 Shields and 4 reward tiers. With each tier, you unlock another reward. Here are the rewards:
- Tier 1: Weapon Skin “Freedom”
- Tier 2: Agent Outfit and NYC Patch
- Tier 3: Armor Skin and “Psst” Gesture
- Tier 4: Flag Backpack Trophy and “Strike” Gesture
To unlock any of these tiers, you must complete a total of 4 Shields. Your progress should then be recognized in the Ubisoft Club.

How do I get the Shield rewards in The Division 2? Once you have redeemed the rewards through the Ubisoft Club, they should be available in-game in your inventory.
You must select the “Mailbox” category. This is only available in your Operations Base in the White House.
Can you still complete the Shields? Yes, as long as The Division 1 servers are still online, you can tackle the Shields anytime.
