On March 1, the Open Beta of The Division 2 will start. We summarize all important information regarding the start, download, and the content for you.
When does the Open Beta run? The Open Beta of The Division 2 starts on March 1 and ends on March 4 on PC, Xbox One, and PS4. All players can participate. The servers will be online from 10 AM.
Preload and download size: According to Ubisoft, the preload starts on February 28 at 10 AM, which is 24 hours before the start of the Open Beta.
If you still have the Private Beta client on your hard drive, you only need to install a beta patch. The update should already be available for all platforms.
The changes in the patch are extensive and are already being celebrated by fans. We have summarized the highlights of the patch notes for you.
How large is the download? The client should take up around 50 GB of storage, depending on the platform. So make sure you have enough hard drive space available.
As soon as the preload is available, the beta client should be available in the respective store for the various platforms:

- An invaded mission where you can get impressions of the endgame
- The 3 specializations are playable in this mission
- 5 side missions
- The eastern dark zone
- Many open-world activities like checkpoints
- 4vs4 PvP mode Skirmish
