In keeping with the tradition of many loot shooters, The Division 2 is not spared from some exploits. There is now a “Loot Cave,” a spot where you can endlessly farm mobs for better gear.
What are Loot Caves? These loot caves became very infamous after the release of Destiny 1 in 2014 and remain so to this day.
Players could endlessly shoot at a spawn point of enemies at certain spots, thus killing monsters without end and with minimal effort, which yielded tons of loot and experience.

In The Division 2, players discovered a bug that works just like the Loot Caves from Destiny.
This is the Loot Cave of The Division 2:
- The spot in question is in the mission “Bank Headquarters.”
- You can find it in a section where you need to activate and defend a laptop
- Instead of standing at the terminal and completing the loading process, you should stay at the point where the enemies spawn
- Along with your team, you must eliminate them as quickly as possible so they don’t overwhelm you
- This should be done on Hard or Challenging difficulty to increase the drop chance for high-end gear.

Remove the Loot Cave or keep it in the game?
What players say about the Loot Cave: On YouTube and in the subreddit of The Division 2, most commentators seem to be happy about the Loot Cave.
- Many are already busy farming and leveling their other characters up to max level.
- They appreciate the opportunity to easily get a lot of loot.
- However, not all players are enthusiastic. User meleestylz writes: “The people who gain such an advantage are the same people who complain that there is nothing left to do in the game.”
Many fans are also upset that another major bug has become known. There are already issues with a glitch that makes players nearly unkillable.
The Loot Cave is yet another item on the currently long list of bugs in The Division 2. Therefore, its discovery does not contribute positively to the mood.
