In The Division 2 , there is a new exotic item on the live servers for PS4, Xbox One, and PC called the “Dodge City Gunslinger Holster.” But how can agents obtain the exotic holster? We will show you the process to find the exotic holster in The Division 2 that makes cowboy agents happy.
After the exotic holster created a stir on the test server, it has been on the live servers since Title Update 4, bringing variety to The Division 2. Because it allows agents to go cowboy.
The holster is the first exotic item in The Division 2 that is not a weapon. Soon, exotic gloves are supposed to follow.
Here’s how to get the exotic holster in The Division 2:
- In the White House, the blueprint vendor sells the “Holster Intelligence: Westward Ho, Young Agent.”
- This starts a project that takes you to the “Harbor Checkpoint” in the northwest of the map. The checkpoint must be occupied so you can liberate it.
- Now back to the White House to retrieve the next project.
- Next, you must clear 3 checkpoints, which have to be at level 4. You need one checkpoint each from Hyenas, Outcasts, and True Sons. The order is arbitrary.
- Back to the White House and submit the 3 parts.

- For the last project, it’s enough to roam around east of the White House. You must wait in-game until noon, and then eliminate the newly appearing boss in a bar. Later, we will explain how you can see when it’s noon in The Division 2.
- When you submit the item, you will receive the blueprint and can claim your exotic holster once you have crafted it. However, you will still need 2 other holsters, which you can craft directly at the table.

How can you see that it’s noon for the second to last step? In photo mode, you can see the current in-game time of The Division 2.
You open the photo mode with the Option/Square button (PS4) or Menu/X button (Xbox One). On PC, you can open the map and then select the option.
This is what the exotic holster can do: It has the exotic perk “Sleight of Hand.” It increases:
- 20% Precision
- 20% Stability
- 40% Reload Speed
- 400% Optimal Range
- 20% Revolver Damage

The following perks are also included:
- Switching to a pistol reloads all weapons.
- Pistol shots penetrate enemies.
- Headshot kills with the pistol grant primary and secondary weapons 20% weapon damage and piercing effect for 8 seconds.
What does the holster look like in action? The holster makes you a kind of cowboy when you’re using pistols. As seen in this video on reddit.
