In The Division 2 there are many weapon mods that you can use to modify your weapon. However, many of these must first be unlocked with blueprints. This is the secret weapon mod that everyone should have.
This is what makes this weapon mod so good: This is the Osprey-9 suppressor. It can only be mounted on certain submachine guns and pistols.
What makes this a top modification for your weapons is the bonus. With this mod, you will receive a whopping 20% bonus to your critical hit chance.
However, you will have to accept a 10% reduction in fire rate, which shouldn’t be too much of an issue with most weapons.
You can attach the 9mm mod to these weapons:
Pistols
- All M9 variants
- Px4 Storm Type F
Submachine guns
- All SMG-9 variants
- Enhanced PP-19, PP-19
- MP5 ST, MP5-N, MP5A2
- MPX
- Tactical AUG A3P, AUG A3 Para XS
- Tactical Vector SBR 9mm, Vector SBR 9mm
To unlock the suppressor, you need to find and complete a secret side mission. We will show you how to get the weapon mod.
Top suppressor for crit chance
Here’s how to find the secret side mission: It’s called “Missing Wire Collectors” and initially will not be shown on your map with the other side missions.
The quest giver is named Amanda Weekes and is located at the northeastern edge of the game world.
She is located in a building above a supermarket.
- You can enter this through two different entrances, either through the main entrance of the market or the back entrance.
- Rope up to the second floor and enter the building through the window.
- There, you should come across a hideout of civilians, where Amanda and another NPC will discuss the missing wire collectors.
By the way: This hideout is also a possible spawn point for Cassie Mandoza, the secret vendor from The Division 2. She may be waiting for you in the bathroom.

Once you have spoken to Weekes, the side mission will be unlocked on the map.
