But what about the people who could already play this content in the Private Beta? They had from February 7th to February 12th to test all this content. Developer Massive has now answered this question.

What happens to the Private Beta progress in the Open Beta?
This is what Massive says: A fan asked if they would keep their progress from the Private Beta. Community Manager Yannick Bancherau answered this question via Twitter: “No, you have to start over.”
Thus, participants of the Private Beta should be aware that they will also start at 0 in the Open Beta and will have to collect all their equipment anew.
Why could that be? Massive does not provide a justification. However, since there are PvP contents in the Beta, the decision is understandable.
Many players from the Private Beta probably found good equipment already. Thus, they would have an advantage over newcomers in PvP.
When does the Open Beta start? From March 1st to March 4th, you can test the Open Beta of The Division 2. The content should be identical to that of the Private Beta.
