So it is! The Division 2 will indeed have an Open Beta as suspected. Ubisoft has confirmed that it will start in March.
When does the beta start? The developers of The Division 2 plan to host an open beta. What the Live Content Manager Yannick Banchereau recently accidentally spoiled has now been officially confirmed.
The Open Beta will begin on March 1, 2019, and end on March 4. The release of The Division 2 will then be on March 15.
How can you participate? Unlike the previous Private Beta, the Open Beta of The Division 2 will be available to all players. So anyone interested can join.
What are the contents of the Open Beta? The content is expected to match that of the Private Beta. Then you can utilize the following features:
- 2 main missions
- 5 side missions
- Open-world events
- A Dark Zone
- An endgame “Invaded Mission”
Are there any special goodies? Yes, every participant in the Open Beta will receive a DC Patriot weapon skin: Those who complete the endgame mission will get a patch from Capitol Hill.
The Division 2 will offer more useful features than Part 1.
