This weekend, The Division offers Phoenix Credits for everyone. We summarize what they are for and how you can grab them, so you don’t miss out.
In recent weeks, things have not been running smoothly in The Division. That is probably clear to everyone. All the bugs, exploits, and cheats have caused frustration and bad moods. That is equally clear. To calm things down a bit, Massive is throwing around Phoenix Credits.
The official reason for this compensation, according to Community Developer Yannick Banchereau, is that the developers want to apologize for the fact that a few days before Update 1.1, no daily missions could be played in The Division. This disrupted the agents who wanted to stockpile Phoenix Credits in this way.
Here’s how to get your 150 Phoenix Credits
You will receive 150 Phoenix Credits as compensation. All you have to do is log in to the servers once this weekend. However, you won’t be served the PCs on a silver platter, and if you’re not too familiar with The Division, it may take you some time to find them. Here’s how to get them:
You need to head to the rewards vendor, who is secretly waiting for you with the Phoenix Credits. This guy hides in the farthest corner of the Operations Base. You can reach him by walking straight ahead from the entrance towards the Tech Wing, but then don’t go up the stairs; instead, continue straight down the hallway. At this vendor, you will also need to collect your rewards from the Ubisoft Club if you have unlocked something there and want to use it in the game.

Once you arrive at him, you just need to talk to him, switch to “Resources”, and grab the coveted currency.
Currently, the special equipment vendor in the Tech Wing has the sought-after weapons SOCOM M1A and AUG A3 Para XS in stock, albeit not necessarily with the best talents. However, for some, the additional Phoenix Credits may come in handy.
