Surprise! After the discontinuation of the online action game The Culling at the end of last year, part 2 was recently announced – and it launches today!
The Culling 2 – Intense Battle Royale
The sequel aims to improve everything. The Culling 2 takes the familiar battle royale gameplay and combines it with the speed and intense feel of The Culling. The developers are now moving closer to traditional BR games like Fortnite and PUBG, but they want to retain the unique “personality” that characterized The Culling.
Bigger and better: The Culling still takes place during a game show, where you try to survive. Part 2, however, offers some new features:
- The game area has significantly increased. You now fight over approximately 20 km²
- You’ll find a lot of loot
- While the first part focused on close combat, long-range combat plays a greater role in part 2
- 50 players battle it out in the area
- The developers are introducing a realistic ballistic system that physically calculates the trajectory of projectiles

How much does The Culling 2 cost? According to the developers, The Culling 2 will be offered for just under 20 dollars.
Here’s how you can join: The Culling 2 will launch today, July 10th, on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The game will be unlocked around 3:00 PM this afternoon.
Console players will find the title in the PS Store or the Microsoft Store accordingly.
The PC launch will be via Steam. Here’s what you need to do to play it on PC:

- Get started: Dive into the battles
