In The Crew 2, you have the choice between airplanes, boats, cars, motorcycles, and other vehicles. Switching happens “on the fly.”
During E3 2017, the new features of The Crew 2 were presented. This includes a versatile selection of vehicles that you can use to explore the map or participate in races.
Switching vehicles is done “on the fly.” This means that while you are drifting with your boat in the water, you can select an airplane through a simple interface and take off.
Decide for yourself what you want to drive
In The Crew 2, you have the freedom to choose whether you want to drive a vehicle, boat, or airplane. You are not forced to “make progress with this race car now,” but can explore the huge map as you wish.
All locations on the map are accessible by car or airplane. There is also a vast network of waterways where you can drive from the top to the bottom of the map with boats.
Switching between vehicles is designed to be simple and does not interrupt the fluid gameplay, not. When you are flying, you can easily switch to boat mode and continue on the river below you. The interface options are clearly organized with waves, clouds, and roads:
Races are available in different categories
The huge open-world map of The Crew 2 invites you to intense exploration tours.
Racing fans will find satisfaction in the built-in races and circuits. There you can compete against other players and race against each other. These courses are available both on water, in the air, and as usual on the road and off-road tracks.
Different disciplines are categorized into so-called “Families“. These families include off-road, freestyle, street racing, and races for professional racers, where every millisecond counts to win.
