The Elder Scrolls Online revealed a new trailer for the upcoming content in 2019 at E3 2019. One particular scene was especially impressive and is celebrated by fans.
What was shown in the trailer? At the E3 2019, the trailer for the new content of ESO: Elsweyr and the Season of the Dragon was also shown during the Bethesda press conference.
In the epic cinematic, you see what happens immediately after the end of the first major trailer for Elsweyr . The Imperial Chancellor and Master Battlemage Abnur Tharn, along with his feisty Khajiit companion Khamira, rush back to stop the recently freed dragons while one is devastating a city.
Throughout the trailer, you see how Abnur, Khamira, and the nameless Breton necromancer deal significant damage to the dragon until it is finally slain by the newly arrived dragon hunters under the command of the Swordmaster Sai Sahan.
Hissing Cat is the Highlight
This is the big scene in the cinematic: A certain scene from the cinematic particularly delighted the fans. Because the tough Khajiit warrior Khamira, who is already the star of the video thanks to her heroic efforts, is ultimately confronted by the dragon, which roars at her angrily despite all her efforts.
But instead of backing down, the brave cat bares her fangs and defiantly hisses her disdain at the beast. Shortly after, she slashes its wings, making it an ideal target for anti-dragon ballistae.
This is how fans react: Khamira’s epic hissing is the absolute highlight of the cinematic for many fans. On Redditt, a thread has formed with over 3,000 upvotes and more than 100 comments where the community praises the brave cat:

- “Khamira hissing at a dragon was something I had to see in this life.”

That’s why even more players love the Khajiit now: Some players who previously didn’t think much of the Khajiit catfolk are suddenly keen to play one:

That’s why the trailer is a GoT reference: Other players feel reminded of Game of Thrones, as in one scene in the last season, Jon Snow similarly bravely confronts a dragon while roaring.

Even the actually cool Breton necromancer who faces the dragon in his ultimate tank form can’t withstand Khamira’s charm:

What’s next for Khamira? It seems like the developers have created a cool new NPC in Khamira, who doesn’t have to hide from the other beloved characters in the game.
And it was already said at E3 that the trailer ends again on a cliffhanger and that there will likely be more cinematics with Khamira and the dragons throughout 2019.
