Before Fallout 76 is released on November 14, the game will have a beta. However, you cannot sign up for this – you must pre-order and purchase Fallout 76.

What to know about the Fallout 76 beta
This is how you get into the beta after pre-ordering: You must pre-order Fallout 76 from a “participating retailer or digital platform” to be eligible for the beta. Depending on where you purchase the game, you will be invited to the beta differently:
- Pre-ordered digitally: If you purchased Fallout 76 in the Xbox One store, the PlayStation store, or the Bethesda.net eShop, you will automatically gain access. The linked account will then be unlocked and you can play right at the start of the beta.
- Purchased from a retailer: If you pre-order Fallout 76 from a retailer, you will find a code in the email confirmation or on the pre-order receipt. You then enter this code on the official Bethesda website after logging in with your account, and you will be unlocked.
Collector’s Edition is not necessary, but it’s also available
It doesn’t matter whether you buy the standard edition or the “Power Armor Edition”, which is the collector’s edition. Pre-ordering either version gives access to the beta.

Beta starts first on Xbox One
The beta will be available on all platforms, but for Xbox first: The Fallout 76 beta will be playable on all platforms: PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. However, Bethesda has announced that Xbox players will have access first – PC and PS4 will follow later.
