Last weekend, all interested players were able to try out the open beta of Diablo 4. How did it influence your purchasing decision?

Have you pre-ordered already, or are you staying away from the game after the beta? Are you waiting to see how opinions will be about the endgame after the release? Or do you want to wait for a sale because otherwise the game is too expensive?

These reactions to the beta are: The general mood in the community seems to be predominantly positive after the two beta weekends. In the surveys conducted on MeinMMO and our sister sites GameStar and GamePro, the beta is rated as “good” or “very good” by the majority of users.
The gameplay, the dark and brutal world, as it should be in Diablo, and the fun classes received high praise. Even in the beta, some players were able to put together extremely strong builds for their characters with which they could even defeat the world boss Ashava solo, even though it only went up to level 25.
However, there was also criticism, and it was sometimes very harsh. Many of you found the dungeons too monotonous and repetitive, a criticism that arose during the first test. There are also ongoing concerns about the endgame and the cash shop, the exact contents and prices of which remain unknown.
Some of you also do not understand why, in a full-price game for which you already have to pay €70, there is also a shop and battle pass for which you are additionally asked to pay.
