A planet in Helldivers 2 allows you to earn the latest weapons in the game in a short time, instead of buying them for real money.
What kind of currency is this? In Helldivers 2, you unlock new weapons, cosmetic items, and new equipment like grenades and boosters typically through war bonds. These are mini-battle passes.
A regular war bond costs 1,000 Over-Credits. You can buy them for around €10 or farm them. Additionally, there are legendary war bonds, which cost even 1,500 Over-Credits (about €15).
So far, Helldivers 2 has a total of 15 paid war bonds. If you want to own all the weapons, grenades, boosters, and armor, you need to farm or buy a total of 15,500 Over-Credits.
The best planet for farming Over-Credits
How can you farm Over-Credits? You can find Over-Credits during a mission on planets, for example, in bunkers, Hellpods, and containers. However, they are relatively rare, and you only get about 10 credits per find, with a lot of luck you might find 100 credits.
What kind of planet is this? If you are currently fighting against the Termites (bugs), you can land on the planet “Grand Errant”. This is located at the bug front in the Farsight sector (lower part of the star map).
Grand Errant is considered by the community to be the best planet for farming Over-Credits due to its characteristics. One player explains on Reddit that with the right team and the correct processes, you can earn about 600–800 Over-Credits per hour.
Thus, you can farm a complete war bond in 1–2 hours. This saves impatient players who want to have the latest weapons as quickly as possible real money.
How should you proceed on the planet? You land in the middle of the planet. Then each member of your 4-man squad runs in a cardinal direction to the edge of the map and looks out for points of interest (POIs) where you can find the super credits.
To move faster, you can use backpack stratagems like the jump pack or the warp pack. You should open containers with explosive weapons or the antimatter rifle. Once you have checked all POIs, you complete the mission without successfully finishing it to save time. You keep all the medals and super credits found at the POIs.
