Currently, the Autumn Sale is running on Steam, where thousands of games are discounted. There are some bargains to be had, especially among MMORPGs, but a fan favorite is missing out.
What kind of sale is this? The Autumn Sale has started on Steam. As with every major discount event on Steam, there are thousands of games available at lower prices. Both new and old titles are included, and fans of MMORPGs have something to look forward to. There are some great deals among the Buy2Play titles. Here’s a selection for you.
Bargains, but one is missing out
What offers are available? On Steam, many of the top MMORPGs are discounted. We have prepared a selection of worthwhile purchase MMORPGs for you:
- Black Desert Online is considered the epitome of a good action combat system and has been praised for this over the years. The sandbox MMORPG is currently only €0.99 on Steam.
- Elder Scrolls Online combines the charming worlds of Skyrim and Oblivion with great class variety and aims to create an MMORPG for 30 years. In the sale, you can get it for €4.99 on Steam.
- Guild Wars 2 has perfected the horizontal progression of your character and is always fun to return to. Currently, there is also a bonus event with free content. The MMORPG is free in its basic version, but in the Steam sale, the expansions are available with up to 60% discount.
- The early access MMORPG BitCraft Online just started in 2025 and incorporates many survival elements into the genre. While it is supposed to be free later, access in early access is only available for money, but now at least with a 35% discount on Steam.
Which title is missing? With the start of the sale, many players looked disappointed at the price of Amazon’s MMORPG New World. Although the title was offered at a 40% discount during the Summer Sale, the price remained at the normal value during the Autumn Sale.
On Reddit, fans speculate that this could be a deliberate decision by Amazon Games because the MMORPG will receive the big Season 10 Update Nighthaven along with an expansion of levels and content in two weeks. Whether this is really the reason or if there will be an extra sale for New World at the start of the new season is uncertain.
Due to the update, some players were probably looking forward to the sale to enter at a lower price, but Amazon is sticking to the price this time. In Amazon’s free MMORPGs “Lost Ark” and “Throne and Liberty”, at least the cosmetic DLCs are discounted, while the Steam page for New World looks the same as before.
