As part of the Galar Expedition event, there is again the possibility to obtain a Master Ball. However, it is not available to all trainers, which leads to frustration among players.

How do I obtain the Master Ball? To get the Master Ball, you need to acquire the corresponding Masterwork Research by October 11 at 8:00 PM. This includes not only the Master Ball but also other rewards like experience points, stardust, and encounters with Galarian Porenta and Pantimos.
There is no time limit for completing the research. Once you acquire it, you can take as much time as you need to complete it.
However, to receive it, you must purchase it. This is possible in the Pokémon GO web store. To obtain it, you will need to pay a hefty €9.99. Currently, there is no other way to obtain the Masterwork Research and thus the Master Ball.
