This is Didier Drogba: For Bayern fans, Drogba certainly remains a painful memory. Many can remember the Ivorian particularly because of the lost Champions League final “at home.” There he burst Bayern’s title dreams in 2012. But he also dominated the Premier League for years with his goals.
The striker was feared especially for his technical brilliance and ambidexterity. What was particularly remarkable about his style of play was that he could play extremely versatile. He was equally dangerous with headers and long shots.
Moreover, he is a true club legend for Chelsea FC, where he played the longest time of his career and scored 104 goals in 254 games.
Last year, the two-time African Footballer of the Year ended his long career at Phoenix Rising, a club from the American MLS.
The fans are looking forward to the cult striker
That’s why FIFA players are excited: On reddit there is great joy about the announcement of the new Icon card. There are many Drogba fans who are simply excited to play their idol again. The players hope that his versatility will also be showcased in the game.
The 1.89m striker, who was also agile and technically gifted, could receive a really good card. There is especially speculation about good shooting and heading values, this combination should lead to many goals.

How strong will the card be? One cannot yet say how strong Didier Drogba’s Icon cards will actually be. EA is still tight-lipped about the stats.
When will all Icons be revealed? The complete Icon list could be released in early September. Until then, EA Sports will probably announce individual Icons from time to time.
Perhaps new Icons will be shown as early as July 31, when new information about FUT 20 is expected.
With Zidane, another Icon has already been confirmed, who will even appear on the cover.

These are Icons: The Icon cards are former star footballers that can be played in FUT. The condition is that the player has shown outstanding performances in football and is currently no longer active as a professional.
