Space Marines are too thick to run
What difficulties did the armor present? In an interview with PC Gamer, Tim Willits, Chief Creative Officer at “Space Marine 2” developer Saber Interactive, revealed that portraying the armor in motion was a challenge:
When Games Workshop designed the first Space Marine miniature, they didn’t think about him running and shooting in all that armor. It was definitely a challenge to get him running, landing, jumping, and fighting with armor that is somewhat unrealistic.

What’s the deal with the armor? Space Marines are genetically modified super soldiers whose mental and physical abilities far exceed those of a normal human. They stand 2-3 meters tall and possess multiple functioning hearts. Their superhuman strength is also the reason why you can only play with three players instead of four in Space Marine 2.
Such a body naturally requires special armor. The armor of the Space Marines makes them walking tanks, ensuring you don’t fail even if your teammates are “idiots”. After all, you should be able to complete a mission on your own if necessary.
In less than 2 weeks, it will be time and Space Marine 2 will celebrate its release. MeinMMO editor Dariusz believes that the new Warhammer game could be a really good co-op shooter, even if you weren’t a fan of the franchise so far: Space Marine 2 looks like a good co-op shooter – even if you are not a Warhammer fan
