Dave Bautista played the character Drax in the film series Guardians of the Galaxy. However, he never got the chance to properly say goodbye to the cast and his character. He still mourns this.
Why couldn’t he say goodbye? The shoot for Guardians of the Galaxy 3 ended around 3 to 4 AM in Hollywood. Dave Bautista had to rush to the hotel and pack his bags, as he had to start filming Knock at the Cabin in Philadelphia just 2 days later.
Due to the filming of the new movie, Bautista would have had no time to participate in the press tour for Guardians of the Galaxy 3 and the premiere. Since there probably won’t be another Guardians of the Galaxy installment with the exact same cast, part 3 was the conclusion of the trilogy.

The actor of Drax becomes sentimental about Guardians of the Galaxy 3
How does he feel about it? Bautista reveals that it feels like there was no closure. He couldn’t say goodbye to his character and the cast. This still makes him sad when he thinks about it.
I wouldn’t say that I miss [Drax]. What I miss is the family environment. It’s hard to know that we will never be together on set again. Me, Chris, Zoe, Pom, Karen, Sean Gunn, James Gunn – that will never happen again. It’s hard to live with that.
Unfortunately, Bautista will never have the chance to make up for the farewell. It is difficult for him to live with this realization. He especially misses his colleagues.
Who is Dave Bautista? The actor originally started his career as a professional wrestler. Since 2006, acting has been added, and he has appeared in numerous films and series. His most famous role is Drax from all three films of Guardians of the Galaxy. In addition, he had other Drax appearances in other Marvel films.
