We were all kind of exhausted
How does Zach Braff describe working on the last season of Scrubs? In an interview on Inside of You (via YouTube), he describes how exhausted all the actors were after 9 years of Scrubs. According to him, they started repeating jokes. Everyone was supposed to be quite worn out. Life outside the series was said to be severely restricted.
We were all kind of exhausted. […] We would work insane hours, which people don’t do anymore. We didn’t have much of a life outside of that. So we were just exhausted.
Despite the enormous workload at the end, Zach Braff does not regret the work. He misses seeing his friends every day and laughing with them every day. He would be happy to see all these people again in a possible reboot.
