Dwarves are small but strong and tough. They live in underground dwellings and are excellent miners, blacksmiths, and craftsmen. This naturally gives them an advantage in battle, as they can create the best armor and weapons.
The dwarf race consists of seven clans, which trace back to the original seven ancestors. The most famous are probably the Longbeards from Khazad-dûm, of which Gimli is also a descendant.
In battle, dwarves use their strength and swing heavy battle axes against their enemies. They also have high endurance, can wear heavy armor, and endure physical exertion and suffering for long periods. Overall, they are considered brave and strong warriors, especially when it comes to melee combat.
