The Bagman is a creature that lives in Bags of Holding and can pull itself out of them to draw further victims into the depths of the bag.
According to legend, the Bagman was once an adventurer himself who wanted to escape his fate and hid in the Bag of Holding while abandoning the rest of his party. The strange powers of this magical space eventually transformed him into the monstrous creature seen in the illustration.
