2. Lysop and Chopper vs. Mr. 4 and Miss Merry Christmas
There is an underestimated battle in the Alabasta Arc as well. Scaredy-cat Lysop must fight alongside the new crew member Chopper against the mole woman Miss Merry Christmas and her husband Mr. 4.
The fight is so good because Lysop has to win using other tactics due to his lack of strength. The fight has everything needed: epic moments, humor, creative techniques, and plenty of Lysop’s gadgets and lies. On the other hand, there’s Chopper, who as the then-new crew member shows what he is capable of.
3. Luffy vs. Rob Lucci
One of the most popular fights in the entire series is Luffy vs. Rob Lucci, which was even repeated after the timeskip. Rob Lucci is the last instance keeping Luffy away from Robin, and he is a real wall.
Although Luffy has new powerful techniques with Gear 2 and 3, the fight against Rob Lucci is not an easy one. Besides his Form-5 techniques, Lucci also has a devil fruit. Both represent a deadly combination. For fans of good fights, there is good hand-to-hand combat here, many different techniques, and moments that still give chills today.
