Rank 3: Miltank
Miltank is inspired by a real cow. It has a udder through which it can produce milk. The milk is even its own item in the game and has healing powers. The Pokédex also states that the milk tastes sweet and is rich in nutrients. Therefore, it is well-suited for the sick and weak.
But to avoid exploiting Miltank its whole life and leaving it at the milking machine, it might be worth slaughtering the Pokémon before it becomes old and tough. A delicious Miltank steak would definitely be great.
But not only Miltank could yield a juicy steak. Other cattle like Tauros or Bisofank could also end up on the plate and might even have their own unique taste.
Rank 2: Nigiragi
Just the appearance of Nigiragi suggests that it is intended as food on our plate. The Pokémon is inspired by delicious sushi. No wonder that not only we, but also other Pokémon would gladly devour it. For its own protection, it hides in the mouth of Heerashai.
But we know that good sushi is exquisite and expensive. Such a wonderful meal would probably be something we couldn’t afford every day. Luckily, the sea offers other tasty fish Pokémon from which we can create delicious fillets.
Who hasn’t felt the urge to take a bite of Magikarp? Also, Tentagra, the non-poisonous version of Tentacha, would look good on our plate. The sea salad could be complemented by other delicious Pokémon like Lusardin (a sardine) or Barschwa (a perch). All that’s missing is a slice of lemon.
Rank 1: Pokusan
Are you little sweet tooth like us? Then you shouldn’t miss Pokusan. The Pokémon is a pile of cream and can have 9 different flavors and 7 different decorations, resulting in 63 possible flavor combinations.
Flavor options include vanilla, matcha, lemon, or caramel. The decorations always consist of sugar. But you should curb your appetite and stimulate Pokusan for Gigantamaxing, because then it will turn into a multi-tiered cake that I would wish for the next wedding celebration I am invited to.
If you’re not a fan of cream, there are countless treats that the world of Pokémon has in store for you. Gelatwino is for example a giant ice cream sundae, Schlapfel a delicious-looking apple pie, and Flaschling just a pile of cotton candy.
