Many anime heroes master exaggeratedly strong attacks that can eliminate evil. Some of these are so overpowered that they are used only once in the anime. MeinMMO has looked at the most extreme attacks and compiled a power ranking.
Warning, spoiler: The article contains various spoilers for different anime. We mainly discuss the outcomes of certain battles.
What is the ranking based on? The ranking only considered attacks, moves, or states that occur only once. It is possible that the attacks were used by other characters in the past, but are not seen in the anime itself.
As a small example: it could be that Son-Goku’s Genkidama overshadows several of the attacks mentioned here. However, since the Genkidama was used multiple times, it does not qualify for this ranking.
Rank 5: Great Flame Commandment: Flame Emperor

What kind of attack is this? This attack is Ace’s trump card and his strongest attack. The pirate creates a gigantic fireball thanks to his Devil Fruit, which looks like a small sun. The ball can then be hurled at an opponent to annihilate them.
When is it used? Ace uses the attack against Pirate King Blackbeard as a final move. The two battle on an island, with Blackbeard relying entirely on his darkness powers. Unfortunately, Ace ultimately lost the duel and was captured by Blackbeard.
Rank 4: Baryon Mode

What kind of attack is this? Baryon Mode is a state that Kurama, the nine-tailed fox, can enter with his Jinchuuriki. It resembles nuclear fusion, where Naruto’s and Kurama’s chakra creates a new form of energy that greatly enhances Naruto’s powers. The attack consumes all of Kurama’s chakra, meaning the fox spirit completely disappears from the user.
When is it used? Naruto used the power in battle against Isshiki Otsutsuki, a member of the Otsutsuki clan that includes Kaguya. Using Baryon Mode, Naruto was able to drain the remaining life energy from Isshiki upon physical contact. By the end of the fight, he crumbled into dust. However, the price was that Kurama disappeared from Naruto.
