Rank 2: Tiamat & Bahamut
Rank 2 fittingly features two dragons. They are arch-enemies, almost inseparable, and equal in their power to such an extent that we decided to let them share this ranking.
They are each the deities of chromatic and metallic dragons and also represent their creators. The two are often directly involved in world events and are in an eternal war against each other that shapes the balance of the multiverse. Their power extends far beyond Faerûn and influences the entire multiverse.
Tiamat is a deity of evil and the embodiment of chaos and destruction, while Bahamut represents good as the embodiment of justice and protection. Tiamat is a five-headed dragon, with each head representing a dragon type she created (Red, Blue, Green, Black, White), while Bahamut is a platinum dragon who often prefers his humanoid form to avoid scaring others.
