The Division is one of the currently most popular MMO shooters. Even though the game had its problems at first, Ubisoft was able to achieve many improvements through constant updates and DLCs. Now that The Division is a year old, the question arises as to how the game will proceed. A sequel has not yet been announced. Whether such a thing is sensible is another question. However, there are increasing hints of a sort of “Year 2” for the game. A second season pass is rumored to be in planning, which suggests that further DLCs are planned.
With the latest updates for the online shooter, many changes have been introduced into the game. Among them, balancing changes. This could indicate that the game is being prepared for upcoming content. This was also suggested by the resume of a Ubisoft employee, which briefly stated that they were currently working on a “Year 2 DLC” for The Division. The entry has since disappeared. But what could Year 2 bring?

Ubisoft will probably reveal plans regarding the future of The Division and Year 2 at the latest during E3, if not even at the first anniversary of the game.
