How does it play? GTA 5 offers a single-player mode and the online mode “GTA Online“. The developers regularly supply the online mode with new content, while the single-player story remains unchanged. The focus is therefore on the multiplayer.
In GTA Online, you play on the same map as in the single-player. Start with a character at level 1, who gradually earns experience points through activities like races or missions. As for the races, there are stunt, off-road, street races, and more. In missions, you complete tricky heists or eliminate target persons.
With the earned money, you can purchase items like CEO offices or a penthouse in the casino, which in turn unlock further activities. You can buy weapons, cars, real estate, motorcycles, airplanes, tanks, and more in the game. The vehicles and weapons can then also be used in game modes or missions.
How does GTA 5 Online generate revenue? For GTA Online, players can buy Shark Cards for real money, which then unlock the in-game currency GTA Dollars. If you want to skip the strong grind associated with purchasing new content in the online mode, you can just reach for your wallet and shorten the grind. This is not pay-to-win, but more like pay-to-skip. Everyone can access all content without spending money, but with real money, it usually goes faster.
GTA 5 also needs to be purchased.
What interesting developments have occurred in GTA Online? Regularly, new free DLCs are released for the online mode that offers new content. With vehicles or heists, the offering in the online mode is expanded. Recently, the casino opened with new vehicles and missions. For a special mission in it, you must first get drunk.
