How does it play? You can let loose in Black Ops 4 in various game modes in multiplayer and zombie mode. A new addition to the Black Ops series is the Battle Royale mode “Blackout.”
For fans of the Black Ops series, there are familiar game modes in multiplayer like Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, or Domination. In these game modes, you play with one of the pre-made characters, which have various skills that make them unique. You then prepare a loadout and head into battle against other players.
The Battle Royale mode works according to the familiar scheme: The last surviving player or team wins. The mode is made unique by temporary perks and fluid gameplay.
For co-op players, Black Ops 4 features the zombie mode. They decided against a campaign.
How does Black Ops 4 generate revenue? In the in-game shop of Black Ops 4, there is digital currency called CoD Points. You can purchase these for real money and use them to buy all sorts of cosmetic items on the black market. This includes character skins, weapon camouflages, calling cards, and even simple crosshairs.
Black Ops 4 itself must also be purchased.
What interesting developments have occurred in Black Ops 4? There has already been anger over the cosmetic items. While players were happy about new items in the community, the way to earn them was not well received.
Players are also complaining about the business practices of this title, saying that Black Ops 4 has an aggressive business model. The game, although a full-price title with a paid annual pass, offers more microtransactions than most free-to-play titles. All shop items in Black Ops 4 cost as much as 17 AAA games.
The next page features a game from 2013 at number 1.
