How does it play? Black Ops 4 offers multiple game modes in multiplayer and a zombie mode. Also included is the new battle royale mode “Blackout”.
Anyone familiar with the Black Ops series will recognize familiar modes such as Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, or Domination. Here you play with pre-made characters with skills that make them unique. You can customize them with a loadout.
In Battle Royale, you play according to the familiar scheme: the last survivor or the last team wins. The mode aims to distinguish itself from other battle royale games with temporary perks and fast gameplay.
If you enjoy co-op games, you can immerse yourself in the zombie mode. There is no campaign.
How does Black Ops 4 generate revenue? Through the in-game shop of Black Ops 4, you can buy the digital currency CoD Points. These can be bought with real money. With CoD Points, you can purchase cosmetic items on the black market. This includes character skins, weapon camouflages, business cards, and even basic crosshairs.
Black Ops 4 itself also has to be purchased.
What interesting changes have occurred in Black Ops 4? Players have expressed frustration regarding the cosmetic items. Players are pleased with the selection options, but the way the items were earned was not well received.
The business policy has often been part of players’ discussions. They say that Black Ops 4 follows an aggressive business model. As such, the game, as a full-priced title with a paid annual pass, offers even more microtransactions than most free-to-play titles. In Black Ops 4, all shop items cost as much as 17 AAA games.
