How does it play? In battle royale fashion, up to 100 players per match compete against each other in Fortnite. The play area shrinks over the course of a match as a storm closes in. You can fight solo or in teams. The last surviving player or team wins.
At the beginning of a match, you jump out of a bus over the playfield and land at any point on the map. Once on the ground, you search houses and chests for building materials, weapons, and items.
With the pickaxe, you can break down buildings. Collected materials like wood or metal are used to build new structures, stairs, or bridges. This is helpful for defense and also for attack.
How does the title generate money? In the Fortnite shop, players can purchase the in-game currency V-Bucks. This allows them to buy cosmetic items like skins, emotes, or wraps.
There is also a battle pass to buy for each season. It costs €9.50 and entices players with special cosmetic items that they can unlock. Because the content is cosmetic, Fortnite doesn’t offer pay-to-win. The game, Fortnite: Battle Royale, is also free to play.
What interesting things have happened in Fortnite: Battle Royale? In Season 9, the most famous place on the Fortnite map was destroyed and replaced by a futuristic variant of the location.
Currently, the qualification for the Fortnite World Cup is taking place, with a prize pool of $30 million.
