What kind of game is this? Wild Rift is a standalone mobile version of League of Legends. It started in Europe on December 10, 2020 in an open beta that simply transitioned into a release.
The mobile version differs in several aspects from the PC version:
- The controls have been adjusted so characters can be played on the touchscreen
- Matches are significantly shorter
- There is more action than in classic LoL
- There is a custom champion pool
