The latest update 1.11 for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has some cool new features. We have gathered the most important ones for you.
On January 22, Black Ops 4 received a new update. The patch includes fixes and improvements, as well as a new stream for the Black Market, a new weapon, fresh playlists for multiplayer, and some new features for Zombies and Blackout. Here are the main contents:
Barbarians Event and new weapon in the Black Ops 4 Black Market
This is included in the new event: On PS4, the new free special event Barbarians started, which will also arrive on Xbox One and PC next week.
This event includes a new stream for the Black Market with 25 new loot tiers. Currently, players will receive double loot for every level-up. Players can unlock new items such as outfits, emotes, or calling cards in this framework.
This is the highlight of the loot: The highlight of the new stream is a new weapon that awaits players as a reward for reaching the last event stream tier – the fully automatic pistol KAP 45. This is the successor to the KAP 40 from Black Ops 2.

New Gauntlets and Elixirs for Zombies
Zombies fans on PC and Xbox One can look forward to a new gauntlet and elixirs for their favorite mode. This feature is already live on PS4.
This is the new gauntlet: Gauntlets are essentially special challenges in the Zombie mode, consisting of 30 rounds, replayable endlessly, and offering unique rules for each round. The new gauntlet is called “Unsinkable” and takes place in Voyage of Despair. Many Zombies fans have been looking forward to this feature.
These are the new elixirs:
- Perk Up (Epic): Gain 4 additional perks that are not in your loadout
- Refresh Mint (Epic): Resets the cooldowns for equipment, perks, and special weapons for your entire team
- Conflagration Liquidation (Epic): Spawns a Bonfire Sale Power-Up
New Mode and Improvements in Blackout
New mode for Blackout: Starting today, players on Xbox One and PC can finally try out the new limited-time mode “Down but not out” in Blackout. This feature is already live on PS4.
This is an additional playlist that will be available to all players until the end of the month. Teams of 4 players will compete against each other, just like in Quads. Tweaking the loot interface: The recently improved loot interface of Blackout has been adjusted again after evaluating fan feedback. Thus, switching tabs and navigating the interface with the D-Pad should work smoothly.
The window issue has not yet been resolved, by the way.
